Hello. My name is Nichole Palmateer and I am the artist behind the Loveshack Gallery. I am so happy you found me!

I am a third generation Douglas County, Oregon artist and the only granddaughter of French artist and post-WW2 immigrant Andree Palmateer.

I have a small art studio in our home we affectionately call “The Loveshack.” It is here where the eclectic and whimsical magic happens, as I create my pieces. I enjoy Gouache, watercolor, alcohol ink, and acrylic painting as well as jewelry making.

I am married to my soul mate, Eddie, and together, we have a Shih Tzu named Cocoa Bean, a part Maine Coone cat named Noelle, an orange buff Tabby named Marilyn, a Betta fish named Kaua'i, two Whites Tree Frogs named Avocado and Snowflake, two Pacific Chorus frogs named Kiwi and Bob and five goldfish in our outdoor pond.

We enjoy rock hounding, hiking, wine tasting, and camping around Oregon and look forward to traveling more once we retire. Most of the uncut rock jewelry is made from pieces we actually hand collected around the State of Oregon.
